Athena Cue Construction & Performance Features

Athena cues are purpose-built around the physical needs of women players rather than scaled-down versions of standard cues. The 12.5mm North American maple shaft is noticeably thinner than the 13mm standard found on most cues, and paired with the 57" overall length, it creates a cue that feels properly balanced in smaller hands rather than oversized. Every cue ships with a 10" quick-release extension, so reaching across the table for a tough shot never means grabbing a bridge.

Choosing the Right Athena Cue for Your Game

Athena's lineup ranges from bold floral and tribal designs to more understated, traditional finishes — so you can find a cue that matches your personality as much as your game. Select models pair with a matching Athena case, letting you complete the look from cue to case. Whatever the finish, the underlying build stays consistent: a thinner shaft and shorter length designed around comfort and control. If you're unsure which style or weight is right for you, we're happy to help you compare options.
